Joe and I had planned for months now to take our motorcycles on this trip, well about 2 days before we were supposed to leave we noticed how the weather kept getting considerably worse, so we decided instead of getting soaked and frozen we'd just take the Durango. I'm SO glad we did! The first day we left home around 10am. We stayed at Macks Inn in Island Park, Id. Went to a nice little restaurant for dinner. There was good thunderstorm that night and this is what the sky looked like when we woke up in the morning. I thought it was pretty!

Snake River in Alpine Wy. We stayed the 2nd night in Alpine Wy at the Bull Moose Saloon. It was a pretty nice little place. Had a steakhouse and bar in it. The rooms were really pretty cheap, alot cheaper than Jackson! It was raining so hard when we came in town Sunday night. This is as we were leaving on Monday morning. It was pretty cold but had just stopped raining. We ate at a cute little cafe called Yankee Doodle ... something... I cant remember, but it was all Americana inside. The food was really good but took FOREVER to get it. Everthing inside there is american themed. You dont get French Toast, its American toast. French fries are American Fries
This is the snow we hit in Afton Wy on our way home. We just missed getting snowed on but the ground was so pretty! We took a million of pictures like stupid tourists that had never seen snow before :)

Looks like you guys had a really fun trip and I bet Kennady was super excited to see you! OK so how crazy is this we actually stayed in Alpine at the Grey's River on the Cove RV Park which is seriously right next door to where you stayed!!! And we ate at the Yankee doodle cafe too! That is too funny too bad we didn't run into each other :)
