Down With The Sickness

Poor lil Pooker has croup :( She is not feeling well at all and I've stayed home from work to make her feel better. This is her FIRST SICKNESS! She's had a stuffy nose and a tiny cough once before. Even with being born in January she's made it a whole year with out getting any type of cold or flu! I am thankful that at least she is big enough to handle it. The dr said it could easily turn into RSV. Its the same virus but its just if it drops into the lower lung so we are hoping it doesnt.
This is Kennedy the very first day. You can see she looks congested. She started coughing in the afternoon and it was a croupy cough so we booked a Drs apt for the next day. I'm not one of those moms that every time she has a sniffle I call the dr. This one just sounded bad from the start.

Oh and little stinker has learned a new trick! We are so proud of her! haha The first night not wanting to snuggle on the couch with dad.

The 2nd night after we went to the dr. Any of you who have spent ANY time at all around Kennedy know that she DOES NOT hold still. She WONT snuggle. She wont let you wrap her up in her blankie. Honestly this child NEVER holds still for more than 2 seconds. She is always moving. She sat on my lap and whimperd 'momma'. Broke my heart but I was so thankful to be able to hold her! We sat on the couch like this for over 30 min! That will tell you how bad she feels!Mommy happy to snuggle baby gir
