Floor me baby!

Today I WAS going to start shampooing the carpets in the house..WAS. We have carpet in our dining room and I HATE IT...ok hated it. I decided there was no point in cleaning it because it wasnt going to get clean. So I asked Joe if I could tear it out. He was at work and didnt care. I've never pulled up carpet or linoleum before but figured what the hell how hard could it be. So heres the carpet pad. It was super nasty! The carpet was about 15 years old. Sick wood underneath it.

The Kitchen. It looks nice but it really wasnt. The tiles were peeling and it really needed to come up So here's all my hard work that only took me a few hours. The kitchen was a pain but I got it done!

AND before Joe got home I had dinner cooking. Here is my little spitfire helper watching me cook dinner.

So hopefully tomorrow we'll get some flooring and go from there..
