Possessed or strange random events?

There have been some strange random events in our house lately and I'm not too sure what to make of it.. so here I'll sit and blog about it at 5 in the morning waiting to go home from work :) Not long ago Joe had cleaned the kitchen and was sweeping the floor.. NO thats not the random strange event.. He let go of the broom and it stood standing. No lie. There is no fishing line attatched to the broom. No glue on the floor. This is a real picture. It stayed like that until he knocked it over. The other night Joe and I were in the living room and had just finished watching the Green Mile. I got up and turned off the lights. And we're all adults here so I'll just say it. About 10 min after I'd turned off the lights and the movie was long over we started making out in the living room (I know he'll kill me if he reads this haha! Sorry honey!) All of a sudden the dinning room light flipped on and the fan started going full speed. Scared the hell out of both of us! The light had been off for a while and it was fully off. No half flipped switch or anything. The wall where the light switch is sits just out of view of the picture on the right hand side.
The next night after the light switch incident Joe was sitting on the couch watching tv and I went to cuddle up next to him. THE SECOND I touched him his police radio (that was charging in the kitchen and had been for hours) plug fell out of the wall and SLAMMED the counter again scaring the shit out of both of us! The radio sits at the far end of the counter you can see sticking out on the left of the picture..
Now when all of these events occured there was no strange smell, no coldness, no evil feeling in the house. This is either a very strange set of events or someone from another time has a very strange sense of humor!
