Boots N' Bunkers

Ok one more soccer picture I promise! Kendalle had another soccer game today and here is their comp team. After the soccer game we headed down to the Ogden Amphitheater. The fire clowns Boots and Bunkers had a big celebration going on. We parked a ways down 25th street and started walking up. There were some cute little statues on the sidewalk I'd never noticed before. Just Kennedy's size!!
We got there just as LifeFlight was taking off. No matter how many times I've seen them land or take off its always so exciting to watch!

Kennedy, Karli and Kendalle. Haley was at a birthday party so she didn't get to come with us.
Kennedy got her face painted for the very first time! She was terrified but Mommy got it done first and then she was just fine with it. She thought her pretty princess twinkle little star (yes that's what she called it) was pretty cool.
The girls got theirs done too
Will Taylor and the girls. Kennedy did not want him to touch her at all but she was fine talking to him if I held her.
Joe and the girls
Kennedy playing some games
The girls all got pinwheels for playing games. The simplest toys make them so happy!
Kennedy couldn't hardly stop blowing hers even for the picture
It was fun but there wasn't as many things to do there as it seemed like there would be. But the kids still enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to Karen's to eat. Such good food!
My sandwich came with those toothpicks with the cellophane wrapping stuff on them. Kennedy was SURE that they were handles (that's what she calls candles) She kept singing Happy Birthday to me and telling me Happy Birthday and asking if she could pretty please see my 'handles'. I put them in her sandwich and she blew them out and told me it was her birthday.
