First Day of Elk Hunt

Joe and Dan went out hunting the opening day of elk hunting. I stayed home with a sick little girl. The batteries on the camera were dying. He forgot to take any pictures of himself! Silly men!

When Joe came home he told me about these two trees. He said that he wondered how long they had been there standing together weathering the elements of nature. How they had withstood everything around them but were able to stay together. He said he wanted us to be like those trees in life together. Awww! This is Dan!

No elk. They saw a bunch of deer and moose but no elk! And its rained all day today so hopefully we get a break in the weather so Joe and I can go back out!
