Dining Room

I finally was able to pick out some colors for the dining room. I wanted one accent wall and the rest to be red clear into the kitchen and have a country themed kitchen. I started on the dining room accent wall...

And I ended up falling in love with the tan color! The red was a a pain in the butt!! It took 4 coats. I've decided I am NOT going to do my whole kitchen red because it will take forever!! SO now back to deciding on colors.. I'm thinking of going with the tan instead. Here is a look out into the dining room from the kitchen. We still need to put up pine boards along the ceiling and the corner but here's what we've got so far.

I also painted the one little part that sticks out and goes into the kitchen.

Believe it or not it was really hard to get a perfect picture of it! It looks so much better in person than the photos do.. But I LOVE it now and cant wait to get all the trim up!
