Chad (the girls step dad) signed
Karli up for mutton busting at the fair this week. It was her very first time ever. So I took a few hours vacation and we all headed out there to see her ride!

Kennedy cheesing it up. She kept wanting her picture taken.

Kennedy and I were looking for a place to sit. Joe had to run back to his truck for a min so we found a spot that was open and sat down. Well Joe comes walking back and starts talking to the people right in front of us. When he turned around I realized it was his nephew Casey. I
didn't even recognize him! I think him and Joe look so much alike!

Finally it was mutton busting time!!! All the little kids were so cute lining up. It was hard to get a good picture and all mine turned out very blurry. Here is
Karli getting on the sheep backwards.

The one of her riding
didn't turn out.. and here is her walking back

Kennedy and Haley

Not long after
Karli road the wind and rain really picked up bad. Kennedy kept telling me she needed a rain coat! The girls were sitting with their whole extended family so we planned to meet after the rodeo. The rain and lightening was getting so bad we headed back to the truck to wait. When we first got there we'd stopped for food on the way in, we
didn't have time to eat it all because the place was packed and we
didn't want to not get a seat and miss
Karli. So when we went back it was dinner time! Perfect having a snack and watching the lightening and listening to the rain pour down.

Joe ran back to get the girls and we waited in the truck. Kennedy told me she was gonna drive me to school. She grabbed the steering wheel, tried to move the gear shifter, turned up the volume on the radio and put her hands back on the wheel.. then she remembered her
seat belt.. good thing Joe's truck is so tall so she cant just climb in and steal it herself!
