Pickin maters and road rash

We went up to my mom and dads the other day to do some chores and pick some veggies. Kennedy and Kinlie had a blast playing and helping. They both were covered in mud and dirt and who knows what! But that didn't stop them from playing!

Kennedy decided to take Kinlie's power wheels 4 wheeler down the 2 steps off the porch at grandmas... If she would have had enough speed maybe she could have made it... but instead nose dived off the porch and landed with the wheeler on top of her. Somehow she scraped under her nose and not really her nose itself.

There were a ton of rip tomatoes and bell peppers! They were just falling off the plants. Most of them we picked off the ground.

I decided to try my hand at making salsa since I had so many yummy tomatoes and I didn't want them to go bad. I've never canned salsa before ever.. I looked at a few recipes online and decided to make my own. I just threw a bunch of stuff together.. didn't measure.. just guessed and it turned out really good!! Not as spicy as I expected but still has a really good flavor!
