Had to get out the BB gun and play with it some.

Kennedy sure loves to shoot it. I think we may have to get her one for Christmas. For only being 2 she sure is gettin good at learning how to hold it. She was looking for deer she could shoot.
Right next to our camp was a cute fort a bunch of little kids had built! The Awesome Kids Fort.

Kennedy came out hunting with me. We had to walk aprox 1/2 mile at the most to a little spot just off the road. Of course she had to go in camo, its hunting season duh!
Just a little excited
Hiking
Sitting waiting for deer
We practiced what to do if mommy saw a deer
We headed up there about 4pm even though it was a few hours early. Figured if she was too loud that would give us time to walk back down before it was time to hunt. She lasted bout 30 min and she was out cold.

Sweet little baby cheeks!! She looks so little!
The next morning I went for a hike before sunrise. Its so neat to be able to hike to the top of a good hill and watch the sun come up.
When I got back to camp it was time to make breakfast.. it was still a little early for some people...

MMM camping breakfast. I swear we eat better hunting than at home!
We drove out to get phone service and Kennedy and I went for a little hike. We were at the top of a little hill and Kennedy kept yelling "Hi daddy!! Do you see me!? Hi dad!" and waving to Joe at the bottom of the hill.
We went down one trail from Jebo Creek camp. It leads down to some ponds my mom said were full of salamanders. We didn't see any in the pond but it was a nice little drive!
Since we didn't see any salamanders I let Kennedy throw rocks into the pond. She wanted to go swimming in it so bad!!
Momma and Pooker

I bought a pack of those little glow bracelets from the dollar store before we left. Each night when it started to get dark we'd give Kennedy a new color to wear for the night. It makes them SO SO SO easy to spot in the dark and in the camper it gave her a night light. She picked up one of Joe's coffee pots and was banging it like a drum. She kept telling me to dance around the fire.. our little Indian!
The next morning I went up a trail called Little Bear, which connects into a rough but neat little trail called Turkey Trail. One of my favorite rides of the whole trip! It was such neat terrain and it kept changing so much. One minute you're side hilling through thick aspens, to hit switchbacks and big rocks through heavy pine trees, to open up into a soft dirt trail in open meadows.
