Girls Day Adventure

Today my mom, me Kennedy and Kinlie went down to Salt Lake for these babies!!! We braved the WORST windstorm I have ever driven in. My mom said it reminded her of the hurricanes in New Orleans with out the rain!Woot Woot!! The Pioneer Woman is coming in just over a week for a book signing in SLC. Its a limited seating event so they have free tickets for a place in line. We headed out early this morning because the bookstore that was handing them out started giving them away at 10am. We had no idea what to expect. A big crowd? Nobody at all? We got there about 10 min early and waited. We were the first ones to get tickets and after that women started coming in like crazy to get them! They were all talking about what she put on face book and her cookbooks and everything else. It was so exciting!!
We wandered through the store and they had a TON of books. Every room was totally filled. Kennedy and Kinlie were in heaven in the kids section!
Look Grandma! A puppy book! Gramma!! A Pwincess book!
After we were done at the book store we went to this cute western store in Woods Cross that is pretty much like an IFA. They had a cute hound dog puppy wandering the store and this awesome 10 cent horse!

Next stop was In-N-Out burger. Neither one of us had ever been there before and after all the hype we had to stop in.
I gotta say..just my opinion I don't know what the big deal is? Seemed like just another burger joint to me. I'd much rather have a Calls Drive in burger or a Jumbo Burger. It was good but nothing spectacular.
The kiddos had fun!

On the way out we had to make a mad dash for the car. The wind honestly was that bad down there. It had been blowing my car all over the road. Bad enough you'd just all of a sudden jump into the next lane. To top it off it was 14 degrees outside! Mom had Kennedy and I had Kinlie. We took off for the car and I went to open Kinlie's door so she could dive right in. Just as I turn around a big gust of wind comes past and starts to blow her away. She grabs onto one of the parking poles and screams 'Jessica!!!!' I am pretty sure she really thought the wind would carry her off!!
