Ice Fishing at Mantua

On Super Bowl Sunday we didn't have any plans so we decided to go ice fishing in the afternoon. We only had a few hours so we stayed close and just ran up to Mantua. We were the ONLY ones out on the ice it was awesome. This was Kennedy's first ever ice fishing trip. She loved to scoop out the holes.. which also happens to be my favorite part too!It actually wasn't too cold of a day either. We ended up getting there around 3:30

Kennedy was so excited. She absolutely loves fishing.
It was real hard to get her to put the pole down.
Mommy where are the fish? Fish love bacon so where are they? She for some reason thinks bait is called bacon? She kept asking about bacon the whole time.
Dad fish love bacon. Can I have some bacon?

Kennedy relaxing eating some treats and watching Dad
Of course she had to make a snow angel too!!
It started to get a little cold so we but another 7 layers on top of what was already there. We weren't catching anything at all so I had Joe drill me a hole in a different spot

We got totally skunked! No fish at all. Not even a tiny perch.. It was still a fun trip though!
