My husband LOVES spice. The spicier the better. Usually when we go somewhere to eat he asks for the spiciest they have and it ends up insulting them when it doesn't reduce him to tears. He has never found anything that is too hot or hot enough for him.
The Scoville scale is a measurement of the spicy heat (capsaicin) of a chili pepper. A normal jalapeno is aprox 4500 on the scale.
Today we went to Wingers for lunch after running some errands. He asked our waitress for some hot sauce. She told him to pick out his own because she has no clue. She asked him do you like really spicy? He told her yes! So she handed him this.
Pure Cap. Which means its pure capsaicin oil. That is the oil derived from peppers. It comes in a bottle with cross bones and Danger written on it. Inside the container is a bottle with a medicine dropper. Its not even poured. Its put on with a medicine dropper! The cook kept telling him ONLY PUT ONE TINY DROP on your fry. Try it first you'll start sweating.
Joe just laughed and put SEVERAL drops onto his fry. He said it was barely hot!!!!! He didn't break out into a sweat at all. He said it cleared out his sinuses some but that was it.
After that he mixed it into his mustard to finish off his fries. CRAZY!! Their Sticky Fingers burn my mouth.. those are probably like 200 on the scoville scale and here he is downing 500,000 of em like nothing.

It is amazing it doesn't physically burn him even though he doesn't taste the heat. Bet he handles the heat even better than shane and I thought he liked things hot! WOW!
I love it really really hot too, but that is CRAZY!!
