VD

This year for Valentines day I told Joe I wanted to NOT go out to eat and NOT buy each other presents. I didn't want to have to fight the crowds to eat, plus this weekend was his weekend for the girls, Kennedy was sick, and he worked on Monday. Plus we celebrated his bday on Sunday. I told him I'd rather just save our money and go do something NEXT weekend instead of having to go on Valentines day because that's the rule. So when he got home from work I had a Valentines Dinner set up on the table.
Kennedy's. Mine and Joe's. BBQ'd ribs, caramelized carrots and fantastic mashed red potatoes.

Kennedy LOVED the fancy cup. She felt like such a big girl!

She kept having me 'cheers' her. Don't you love her outfit. A t shirt and her princess summer dress over it.. well because she's a princess!

After dinner we Red boxed 2 movies. The Last Song (LAME! Totally let me down Nicholas Sparks!) and Easy A (super funny!) Joe made it through the last song and was crashed on the couch by the first 5 min of Easy A.. we must be getting old already.... Happy VD!!
