Winter didn't exactly know what it was up against!! It all started out so innocently... Wonderful warm temperatures over the week between 5 degrees and 20 degrees. Woman went outside to water the horses. Winter refused and froze the water hose right at the house.. Woman had to thaw it out in the bath tub.. Score 1 point for Woman.
The horses were terrified as the battle began.. see that fear in their eyes.. If Woman couldn't win this battle they'd be with out water and surely parish!
Woman successfully defeated the frozen hose problem.. Once that triumph was met onto the next battle. The frozen hose had burst in several places along the length of the hose and created massive leaks! Plus the red part of the hose was frozen solid. Woman removed the red part and now it wont reach the trough.
Then Winter threw a sucker punch!! The water heater in the trough quit working and was frozen into a block of ice! The trough was placed in such a spot that the sun hardly reached it.
Don't worry. Woman had a surprise up her sleeve! Winter is no match for Kawasaki!! It has been reported that the Kawasaki almost fell victim to Winter.. Winter had tried to drain the battery but Woman was able to start it and some say she cried out a victory cry of "yee haw!!!" when the Kawasaki was able to pry its battery from Winters icy clutches and start!
The trough is froze. The bottom half is all ice. The water hose now cannot reach the trough...What is Woman to do!??!? Woman smiles and hooks the trough to the trusty Kawasaki and drags it across the frozen ground!
Now the earlier situation presented itself again... the hose was full of holes! No fear.. Woman throws all of the hose into the trough so no water is wasted!
Woman has another secret up her sleeve. Winter is not the victor. There is another water heater inside the garage!
Ahhhh nice warm water....
Now the horses have been saved. The trough has been moved in to the glorious sunshine. And this is the end of the tale... The day Winter tried to take on the Woman. The Woman in the muck boots!!!
