THE Pioneer Woman

My friend Crystal came down from Idaho and we were on our way to go see The Pioneer Woman. Joe had told me that we needed to stop by the station on our way down because he had a present for me. I wasn't really sure what to expect... once he told me he had a surprise for me and it was squash that looked like boobs..or sometimes its been a Dr Pepper. I just wasn't sure what it was going to be. Maybe some lady at work had made a bracelet or something and he bought it from her. Honestly I wasn't thinking it was anything big.. because well he normally just doesn't do that..

So I get to the parking lot and he has me stand there with my eyes closed. He handed me a big camera case..I thought what did he put in there? Chocolates? And why is the case so big? My camera is little? I opened it and it was a NEW CAMERA!!???!? I was 1 million percent surprised. He listened to the fact that I wanted a Cannon and went way above and beyond the little point and shoot I had wanted!! He bought me a Cannon Power Shot SX30is. He said he knew how excited I was for this and wanted to make sure my pictures turn out good since the one I have doesn't do too well indoor!
After the shock of the sweet present Crystal and I headed to SLC. We had no clue what to expect. A ton of people waiting for seats? No one? We just weren't sure. We ended up getting there later than what we had planned but it was perfect!! We were so excited!

AND THEN out came Ree. The Pioneer Woman. P-dub. PW. Ethel Merman impersonator. Marlboro Mans wife. OH MY GOSH!!!

She talked to us for a few min and then she took questions from the audience.

PW is so sweet. So really. Funny. Entertaining. Bubbly.

And of course we got to meet her!!!! She was so sweet signing our books. We had killer tickets and were like the 5th people to get their books signed!!!!!!!!!

I was honestly so star struck I didn't know what to say or what to talk about besides just stand there and stare at her haha! Good thing she initiated the conversation. She told us thank you for coming to her book signing!

The book is fabulous! I wish she'd write a thousand more books. It was such a good story. It makes you go awwwe! Reading this book just makes you feel happy. I highly recommend it!
